Today carries a comfortable slowness. We wait for Myles to return. We wait for the rain. We are about to eat breakfast at the late hour of 9:30. (Normally we eat about two hours prior) But with quiet uninterrupted games of checkers being played it is a lovely pace. Complaint free bagels with smoked trout dip, and leftover salad topped with a fried egg is on the menu. Fiona loves bagels, but it would never satisfy our first born. So here we are enjoying a different kind of morning. One that even has room for a post. :) I hope you are all enjoying a bit of a lazy Saturday too.
Smoked Trout Dip || Adapted from sister's latest Bon Appetite
8 oz. of smoked fish
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup yogurt
1/4 cup minced red onion
fresh lemon juice
Mix together and serve on a hot, toasted something.
