This weekend we became the Lupine Ladies that Miss Rumphius always wanted us to become. The weather has settled and we sowed our seeds. Here is to beautiful things in store.
Oh I'm so glad you posted this! This is one of the books my aunt had in her book bag that I'm trying to slowly rebuild. But she doesn't remember most of the titles (how is this possible), I didn't remember this one, or the name of the flowers. So far the only one I do have is The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes (picked up at the Park Street consignment sale last week).

I think of this story so often though.
I love it when that happens. Memories are amazing things. I often have twilight zone moments when I stumble across an old forgotten title.
