Untitled

I told myself, I am not allowed to be melodramatic right now.  The past week or two, has been full of internal drama, and I am weary of listening to myself.  The holidays pushed aside so many little things piling up over the months, that now I have been sitting in my January, staring at my clutter.  Slowly I am finding remedies.  A couple good things are, my paper whites bloomed, and I can smell them when I come into the kitchen. Big bags full of library books of old and new titles. We had a Knuffle Bunny marathon. Fiona wanted to borrow all the books again and listen to Trixie grow up.  Our current read-a-loud is, A Wrinkle in Time.  This is a first for all of us and the howls of horror when a chapter ends, rival any book we have read thus far.  And I started a new sewing project.  Grammie has been coaching me through this, right on the cusp of her trip to Switzerland. She will be gone for three weeks, and it will be interesting to see our home through quieter eyes.

What great fabric. I hope things look up soon.

Love the fabric. LOVE Knuffle Bunny. I almost wore my A Wrinkle in Time t-shirt today, because it is my favorite forever. We are only starting to de-clutter. I spent two weeks staring blankly into space. I hope things brighten up for you. xoxo

You got one of the good Wrinkle covers, that betrays its weirdness ahead of time. I find that otherwise the book catches people off guard. So fun to think about reading that out loud one day...

Yes! And I think that's why it remained untouched for so long. I will not forget that first read for a long time.
